Red Eared Slider Dangers

How many times a day do we hear the comment “ Oh my GOD their so cute” in reference to the baby Red Eared Slider DISPLAY'S we keep here at Pet Plaza. Only most do not know of the UNSEEN dangers to owning this beautiful aquatic reptile. Terrie and I have kept these for years both at home and at the store, that does not mean the dangers are not valid, it just means we have no children at home.

Salmonella is the bacteria these little cute reptiles carry. It spreads by coming in contact with the animal, it's tank, the water and all the equipment and decorations, there's no getting away from it.
